100 Turkey Goal! We have partnered up with The Bridgeport Rescue Mission and our goal is to donate 100 Turkey starting next weekend and running through New Years. We are asking for $20 and will be donating up to 40% of the proceeds towards buying as many turkeys as we can. They are in need this season and not only are you giving back but you are receiving a great book in return. You can also choose to donate the book as well. In this case we will give the book to a child in need. Please consider helping us reach our goal! Thanks and happy holidays!
*If you would rather have us rescue a live turkey and donate him/her to an animal sanctuary please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know. Also if you rather me donate a vegan meal instead of turkey to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission please email me and we will do so. Thank you for your support!
The first book in a series of six. It is a story of a group of animals that normally would not be seen hanging out together, but when there is enough food already on the table, there is no reason to eat or chase after each other. The book portrays a positive message for young children and also promotes good, healthy eating. I can always remember back to when I was a kid and some of the best times were at the dinner table eating and talking with family. As technology continues to advance and peoples’ schedules’ grow busier it’s important to remember to eat together as often as possible. It is also important to remember that no matter what someone looks like, or believes in they should not have to eat alone. Invite them to your table or be a good person and join them.
